Heavy police presence right now at the scene where a shooting took place at Price Middle School in Atlanta. A SWAT team reportedly is at the site searching buildings.

Initial reports were that the shooting took place at Carver High School.

Students say a fight broke out between rivalries at 1:50 p.m. A 14-year-old boy reportedly was shot in the back of the neck and transported to Grady Memorial Hospital's trauma unit. The teen is awake and breathing, sources said.

A teacher also was transported to Grady and treated for minor injuries. The teacher is believed to have been trampled by the crowd as the shooting broke out. Overall, the teacher is doing O.K., sources said. One suspect is in custody.

Students will be released at the regular time, according to school officials.
