ATLANTA--Atlanta City Councilmember Cleta Winslow introduced legislation this week requesting that the Office of Transportation perform a traffic analysis of the intersections of Peeples Street, White Street and Rose Circle, Southwest.
"Recently, two young ladies were seriously injured by a man who was driving a stolen vehicle, and ran into the girls while they were in the West End community," Winslow said. "Where these three streets come together, there is Rose Circle Park where children play, Brown Middle School and Impact Church that has three services on Sundays."
Winslow said public safety in the area may be greatly enhanced if pedestrian crosswalks and other traffic calming devices are installed in the area.
