On Tuesday, Feb.26, two Rockdale Sheriff's deputies helped a stranded semi-tractor trailer driver who ran out of gas. The driver was having mechanical difficulties while driving on Georgia Highway 20 around lunchtime. No one was hurt in the incident.

"It was a broken down tractor trailer. Apparently, the driver ran out of gas going up the incline and then had some other mechanical issues," said Michael Camp, Investigator with the Rockdale Sheiff's Support Services Division. "He was trying to get out of the roadway when it wouldn’t move anymore."

The two deputies maintained control of traffic in front of the CVS pharmacy in Conyers.
