Roundtable on charter school amendment set in Rockdale Print E-mail

CONYERS--Join State Rep. Pam Dickerson and Dr. Doreen Williams for a Roundtable discussion, on Oct. 15 regarding the Charter School Amendment.

The forum will feature opponents and proponents of the amendment.

The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Nancy Guinn Library, 864 Green St., Conyers.

On Nov. 6, Georgia voters will be asked to amend the Georgia Constitution with this question: "Shall the Constitution of Georgia be amended to allow state or local approval of public charter schools upon the request of local communities?
