The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce’s Gwinnett Leadership Organization for Women (GLOW) will welcome Judge Glenda Hatchett for its business breakfast on Nov. 2, 7:45 9:15 a.m., at the TPC Sugarloaf Country Club, 2595 Sugarloaf Club Drive, Duluth. Judge Hatchett will discuss challenges and successes along her career path that led to the success she enjoys today. She will share how to form a blueprint for a purposeful life by setting goals. After graduating from Emory University School of Law, Glenda Hatchett accepted a position at Delta Air Lines. While at Delta, she served dual roles as the senior attorney for Delta, and manager of public relations. She left Delta Air Lines to accept an appointment as Chief Presiding Judge of the Fulton County, Georgia Juvenile Court. Upon accepting the position, Glenda Hatchett became Georgia¹s first African-American Chief Presiding Judge of a state court and the department head of one of the largest juvenile court systems in the country. Hatchett has served on the boards of three Fortune 500 companies HCA, The Gap Inc. and ServiceMaster Company. Presently, she is on the Board of Advisors for the Atlanta Falcons Football Organization. She resides in Atlanta with her two sons. |
