DeKalb schools culinary competition set at Le Cordon Bleu

DeKalb County Council of PTAs will again partner with the DeKalb County School District to host the 9th annual Culinary Extravaganza & Competition at the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Atlanta.

 

The event will be held Saturday, March 29, and is one of the council’s signature wellness initiatives geared toward promoting healthy lifestyles, enhancement of students’ culinary skills and promoting culinary as a career choice.

 

The following DeKalb high schools will participate in the competition: Clarkston, Columbia, Lakeside, McNair, Miller Grove, Redan, Towers, Tucker, and Warren Technical. The schools’ culinary teams will be professionally judged on safety, appearance, taste, sanitation, team work, creativity, and nutritional information to name a few.
