Commissioner Stan Watson to host free community breakfast

DeKalb County Commissioner Stan Watson will host his monthly community breakfast on Saturday, April 5, 9 to 11 a.m., at Chapel Hill Middle School, 3535 Dogwood Farms Road, Decatur.

Cassius Butts, regional administrator for Region IV of the U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA), will inform entrepreneurs about resources available for small businesses. Tonza Clark, Foreclosure Registry manager for the

 

Department of Planning and Sustainability, will advise citizens how the registry is working with neighborhoods to enforce owners of foreclosed properties with code compliance.

 

Also, DeKalb County State Court Judge Stacey Hydrick will share how S.M.I.L.E. is introducing high school students
to potential careers in the areas of criminal justice, law, corrections, probation, and social work. DeKalb County 2014 State Champions, Chapel Hill Middle School Step Team will be performing at the breakfast.
