Rockdale Sheriff's Office seeks Dollar General burglary suspect


The Rockdale County Sheriff's Office is asking the public's help in locating a suspect who burglarized a Dollar General store at 1457 Highway 138 in


Sheriff's investigators say the suspect is a black male or female who was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt underneath a black jacket, dark jeans, black and white shoes, a surgical mask and latex gloves.


The suspect broke the glass front of the store with a rock and then used a metal baton to break the glass cabinets containing cigarettes and then
loaded multiple Newport cigarette cartons into a duffle bag. The suspect left the store on foot. The burglary occurred on Saturday, March 8, around 3:30 a.m.
