|
ATLANTA— Applications are now available for parents who wish to apply for a 2010-11 hardship transfer or to renew a current hardship to another Fulton County elementary, middle or high school.
Parents can use an online form, available through the Fulton County Schools’ web site, to enter their information and then print it to obtain signatures and/or supporting documentation. Although using the online form will help expedite processing time, applications also can be picked up at all schools as well as the Fulton County Schools Administrative Center. The deadline for submitting a transfer application is March 1, by 4:30 p.m. no exceptions or extensions granted. All requests must be received or postmarked by this date and time. Applications can be sent by mail, fax or hand-delivered to:
Fulton County Schools’ Student Assignment Office 786 Cleveland Ave. S.W. 404-669-4948 fax
In addition, school system employees who have children receiving an employee hardship transfer must renew their request with the Student Assignment office. All employees must provide a letter from their supervisor stating their employment status for the 2010-11 school year. Parents with questions or who need more information about hardship transfers can contact the Fulton County Schools’ Student Assignment Office at 404-763-6801 or visit www.fultonschools.org/dept/studentplacement. |
