State Rep. Kendrick to host virtual discussion on “App Fairness” legislation

ATLANTA – State Representative Dar’shun Kendrick (D-Lithonia) will host a virtual discussion on two legislative measures that seek to promote “app fairness” in the marketplace. The virtual meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 7 p.m. via Zoom.

Kendrick will be joined by Thompson Victory Group. Together, they will have a candid discussion regarding House Bill 229 and Senate Bill 63. These bills would include mobile applications in Georgia’s Fair Business Practices Act to prohibit unfair and deceptive acts or practices in the mobile app marketplace.
