This week’s ‘Around the Town’ takes us to the Michelle Obama Trail, formerly
known as the South River Path, in Decatur, GA. The trail, named for the nation’s first African-American First Lady, is located at the Georgia State University Panthersville campus on Clifton Springs Road.
The thing I enjoyed about going to the Decatur Campus is walking around it. Even when the trails wasn’t well defined, for some strange reason,I still enjoyed walking around it.
Atlanta has the Beltine .Though it’s great that we have trails, there are not many of them around and the ones that are there ,you wouldn’t think exist as they seem isolated from public view.
In the future,I’m hoping that South DeKalb will get more trails.
